So here's a fun site: Woot. Check it out. They take refurbished products (and some other random products), and sell one product per day until they are sold out. Occasionally there will be a woot-off where a new product appears after the old product has sold out. There can be some good deals, so check it out! There's also Two-Fer Tuesdays where two of the same item are sold. You can only buy up to three of the product (6 on Tuesdays). Go! Now! See the item of the day!

Cemetery Establishment:

I went to see Hancock with my cousins, and on my way, I saw a stone sign. It read "Bostwick Cemetery Established 1859". Now, I'm not an expert on such things, but does that mean that this is when someone first died? If that's not the case, is there some sort of cemetery land permit that has to be designated? So does that mean people would be buried before the sign? What does it mean?!

Phenomenal performance by Heath Ledger. I think I would feel the same way if he were still with us today. It was incredible. I didn't think the Joker was such a creeper, but he was/is and you couldn't really tell it was Heath Ledger at all. As it was pointed out by JM and my parents, it wasn't exactly an uplifting movie, but it was enjoyable in it's own way and very curious. It makes you think more than most blockbusters and has more twists and turns and a more interesting plot than most. It still kinda drives me crazy how Christian Bale changes his voice when he's batman, but it was good none-the-less. I wish they hadn't brought in and taken out two-face so fast. I also thought that Katie Holmes was in it for a bit before I realized that her replacement was a decent look-alike and did all right all things considered.

PostSecret: For those who aren't familiar with this movement, Frank Warren started an art project where people submit secrets about themselves through the mail on a postcard. It really is quite an amazing thing. You can check it out on his website that is updated every Sunday. I pretty much check it every week, and I find it to be comforting and disturbing at the same time. We are a lot closer as humans and a lot further apart than I realize.

Two rants:
1. Whenever I am in a grocery store or waiting in line (with multiple lines) for anything, I seem to have the magical ability to get into the wrong line...the one where someone walks into the store and cuts (not purposefully) in front of you. Then they take forever writing a check and during that time another line opens up, but as soon as I head towards it, the cashier leaves because heaven forbid I get through the line quicker. Back to the first line and waiting and more waiting as people get through faster. No, it's not the end of the world, but it's annoying because it's a waste of my time.
2. My Dad made a comment while I was helping file stuff, and he complained that I was going too fast. I wouldn't have let it get to me, but that's probably the third time I've heard that complaint, and it's a dumb complaint. It should be, "Oh, you work so quickly, thank you for your efficiency." It shouldn't be a complaint at all, so why should I feel bad for doing good work? Has anyone else had this problem?

Tabula Rasa

I am revamping my whole blog and starting over. After copying, pasting, and then deleting some 500-ish posts, I am ready to begin again. I have not quite decided what will go one here besides random PSAs, personal rants, and maybe a quotes/pictures/creative writing section or two. I need to learn how to add pictures and hyper links though. I'll get on that. Let's see if that first hyper link worked...
